Hi Mads, since our session I’ve made small changes on the way I look at everything in my life. Your advice has lifted my mood, confidence and changed my emotional state. I still have moments when I think of my experiences, then I say to myself F@#% RIGHT OFF and move on. On Wednesday I was taken to a comedy show for the first time in years. I had a great night and laughed so much my face hurt. Every day I try and make sure I do one thing for myself and not feel guilty. I also listened to a podcast where you were the guest and discussing self-talk and how that can have a huge effect on mental health. It wasn't until I had therapy sessions with Madonna that the culmination of the traumatic experiences of my whole life made sense to me. 

It explained my need to justify myself, feel diminished and apologise for my life. Specifically, Madonna helped me to realise that they shaped who I am, and who I am is a powerful, strong, resilient and intelligent woman.

My Journey to seek a counsellor stemmed where a long relationship dynamic had me completely stumped, frustrated and disempowered. Usually, being self reliant and resourceful in being able to navigate these things myself, I found myself increasingly needing clarity that I could not find on my own.
